A very handsome stone yoke from the Taino culture. Possibly worn by players of a ceremonial and recreational ball game. Medium to dark green in color.  Beautifully decorated outer sides with a full length Zemi in low relief and large wide register of hair or wave patterns above. Stunning piece. Mounted on wooden and metal base.

Measures 12.5"/31.75 cm in length, 10.5”/26.67 cm in width 3”/ 7.62 at widest point.
