An admirable Taino curved Wooden Purging (vomit) stick. Used in the Cohoba Ritual. A boldly carved Zemi perched on top with incised motifs below. Attenuated and tapering at the tip with an overall symbolic “Pecked” surface. Deep brown rich patina. Extraordinary size. Measures 14.5” in Length (36.83 cm.) Small wood separation near bottom. In Fine condition.
