An extraordinary pair of Manteño/Huancavilca Ceremonial Bone Scepters. The iconic look to this Manteño Jaguar represents power. She stands perched atop registers of zig-zag and horizontal patterns on the lower handle. The high elite, is heavily covered by incised tattoos throughout the face and body. Wears a decorative crown or helmet of high status. A great amount Guangala influence is evident. Both are superb and rare pieces.
