Handsome whistling vessel that stands on three tear-shaped legs, manioc tubers or perhaps sweet potatoes, bridge handle on top in the form of an extended monkey. Geometric markings decorate the vessel's legs. The cream colored terracotta item whistles through the spout. It is in excellent shape with minor restoration to the legs. Chorrera, Ecuador. 1000-500BC. Over 7" in height.
